At Ido Productions, we love capturing the essence of a wedding. We also love great wedding imagery- it’s inspiring to see what other creatives are up to. We came up with 10 that we feel truly have captured… something special, wedding-wise. Take a look and see if you agree:

We find this photo darling for the pure simplicity of it. The groomsmen are absolutely hamming it up- how can you not smile looking at this-? It’s an original way of adding personality to a normally posed shot.

This photo caught our eye not just because of the trainers, but the couple’s obvious connection. It’s intimate without being intrusive and shows a genuine ‘moment.’

The crowning touch of this unique shot is the bouquet- it’s a great concept that really pays off. The groom’s obvious laughter enhances the overall feeling of warmth.

Of course we couldn’t make a list of great wedding photos without including this iconic creation. It’s sublime, from the expressions to the dino backdrop. What’s even better? Finding out the inspiration stemmed from the groom’s hobby.

It’s always difficult to find the perfect lighting. In this case, it is absolutely heavenly. The best part of this photo is the fact that the couple is still the focus.

This stunning shot is all about location, location, location. The choice of angle, the way the bride is framed- it’s just delicate and pretty. It goes to prove not every ‘candid’ needs to be silly- it can be chic.

The way the clouds appear to funnel out from the couple is amazing. It’s also perfectly detailed in black and white- it might not work as well in color. It’s nice when nature compliments a wedding day.

This couple (and their photographer) didn’t let a little rain get in the way of saying ‘I do.’ It’s a visual testament to the commitment they’re making, and it’s really sweet.

This shot just cracks us up. It tells a story in such an original way- not only are they underwater, but they’re posing. Overall, it’s just sort of brilliant. Booze and all.

A photo from a slow-motion photo booth set up at the wedding caught the celebration in 160 frames/second. It’s definitely a unique way to capture ‘selfies,’ and is definitely memorable.
