Wedding Day Surprises
Wedding Day Surprises for Brides and Grooms

Everyone wants their wedding day to be special. But with all of the details and plans of the day, sometimes the couple forgets to romance each other. How about a wedding day surprise for your bride or groom?

The wedding day- even if it is celebrating the two of you, and your love- usually doesn’t leave much romance for the groom and bride. We’ve got a few wedding day surprises to let them know how special they are to you- on your wedding day.

Send Tokens of Affection Through the Day

For her: start off her day with a cup of coffee and tea and a note. Send her little gifts, as she’s getting ready through her bridesmaids or family (they can be inside jokes, a love letter, her favorite perfume).

Another great wedding day surprise idea? Secretly hire a photographer or videographer to record the proposal and give it to her on the wedding day.

For him: send him notes and tokens that suit him. A trinket with his favorite team or band; a love letter; his favorite junk food (with a note attached ‘Enjoy it while you can-!’ ); whisky, if you know he’s nervous. Keep it light and loving.

Wedding day surprises don’t have to be serious or expensive. They’re just small and loving gestures to show you care.

It’s your day, right? Yet it seems many brides and grooms have absolutely no time with each other during the wedding day. Set aside a ten-to-twenty minute mini break for you to regroup- together.

It could be a horseback ride, a small picnic (couples never have the chance to eat, either) or even just a walk to connect.

For him: boudoir photos are all the rage with brides-to-be, packaged up as a wedding gift for their grooms.

For her: a small, decorative box filled with IOUs for massages and anything your creativity comes up with.

Something to really remember, brides and grooms. No matter how many guests you have to juggle, or details you have to attend to- at the end of the day, it is your day.

Make it belong to both of you, too! A small wedding day surprise can last for a lifetime.

We hope we’ve given some helpful ideas, but we’d love to hear from you. Have you heard of any sweetly unique couple gifts on the wedding day? Did you get a wedding surprise?
